I know this is kind of lame for you computer literate folks out there but I have been avoiding playing with special effects with my photos.

I keep avoiding it too, as I'm not as computer literate as I want to be. Soooo, I tell myself that I don't really need fancy phogos, but secretaly that's what I want. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and give it a try.
That's a great shot! I've been using Pixlr for a while and love it -- but I still have to use PhotoShop to get my sizing right for some reason.
