A first for me

I was running errands this past Wednesday, and decided to visit the local Barnes and Noble...

...I think I remember Nancy saying she had an article in this months Belle Armoire Jewelry, so I thought I would check it out.

There it was on page 58, and as usual there was an example of Nancy's unique style of jewelry.

Then quite out of my control I screamed. There it was, in full color, in a magazine, one of MY lampwork beads. I was shaking, people were staring, asking me if I was OK, I assured them that I was and tried to gain my composure. I turned the page...

and let out another scream. There was another one of my beads!!! This time people were inching away from me, realizing this may be a pattern. I skipped to the checkout, spent some time with the cashier showing her my beads (she had no choice), and called anyone I could think of.

If you have not guessed already my beads have never been in a magazine before, and I was very thrilled. Nancy, thank you, thank you, thank you, I could not have received a nicer holiday surprise.

Please check out Nancy's etsy shop, she has some wonderful jewelry for your Holiday gift giving. One of the necklaces featured in this article is available.

Your beads rock and some day, you'll be in them all!

Congratulations, Anne. I knew that was your work the minute I saw it ... which I think is what we all try to attain as artists ... a faithfulness to our aesthetic.
