Gardanne Bead Giveaway

I guess I am not the only one having issues with blogger, or this post would have appeared earlier.

Anyway, as promised I am having a bead giveaway to celebrate my 1000th sale, and while I am at it my 2 year anniversary on etsy and blogger was in the month of April.

These are the goodies that one lucky bead lover will get. The giveaway is open to everyone, international and domestic.

All you have to enter is......

- Answer this question in the comment section " I have been making more sets of spacer beads, like the blue ones in the giveaway. As a jewelry maker what size spacer beads do you like to have on hand when you are making jewelry." If you don't make jewelry say anything you want, within reason.

- Blog about this giveaway

- Friend me on facebook, search for Anne Gardanne.

All of these options give you a vote, please let me know in the comment section what you did so I can give you the right number of entries.

I will randomly pick a winner next Friday, May 20th at 9am.

Wait I am not finished yet.

Starting now I am also having a 10% off sale on everything in the bead and jewelry shop

Just enter the coupon code

GARDANNE10

at checkout and 10% will automatically be deducted from your order.

As usual this discount does not include custom orders or orders that are on hold.

The 10% off sale will end at 12 midnight on Tuesday, May 17th.

This is a big giveaway month for me, I am also one of the sponsors on the Art Bead Scene Blog for the month of May. I will have more details about what that lucky winner will get next week.
Check out this post for details on how on how to enter the ABS giveaway.

Now go enter.

I haven't gotten around to making anything just yet, but I love beads. Beading is on my to do list for 2011. In Indian (I am from India) costume jewellery spacer beads are generally round metallic (silver, brass) beads used on each side of the main choker (pendant). The size depends upon the size of the pendant. Happy beading.

I just found you through Lorelei's and Malin's blogs. Your work is absolutely stunning!! I like spacers of all different sizes. It really depends on what I'm making - if I need something to help bring colors together, then I like a spacer that's about 4-8mm. But if I need something to make it "sparkle" like a fancy-er bead then I like something about 10mm or bigger. I like how your spacers come with varying sizes.

What a fabulous giveaway! Thanks! And congrats on reaching your milestones! Woo-hoo! :-)

Congrats on your anniversary, and you 1000th sale - that it phenomenal! For me, the smaller the spacer beads, the better. You pretty blue beads in the giveaway would not be "spacers" on my desk!
Thanks for the chance to win. And now I will go shopping at your etsy store!

DrBecs said...

Hi, you make such beautiful things! For me, spacers have to be small as I like more delicate jewellery - around 3 - 4 mm is best!

CraftyHope said...

Fabulous giveaway. . .
I'm not as well versed in bead sizes as I would like to be. So this answer is vague, but as specific as I can make it.
When it comes to spacers, I really do prefer something fairly small so they can also be incorporated into earrings as well. However, if they are lampwork spacers, I do think it's important that they be large enough to be well seen so that artists' work doesn't just blend into the background.
Aghhh...too vague?
Maybe this will motivate me to learn my sizes better.
Of course, if I'm handed a a bunch of beads, it wouldn't matter what size they are. I'd use them! :D

I like to use 5-7mm quite often for bracelets and earrings, but also would love to find more with a wider hole, maybe 9mm so that I can get away with using them on Vintaj Bangles and hooped earrings. I also love spacers where the hole is set to the ones side so that you get that left, right, left, right appearance (similar to how multiple briolettes on a necklace would be used). Adds extra interest.

I absolutely love your enamelled beads, I often drool on your etsy site ; )
