All you bloggers out there getting your studios organized motivated me to do the same. I have to see what I have, or it never gets used, so I purchased these organizers intended for scrapbooking and they work quite well. The larger drawers on the bottom hold my natural stones, they have locking covers so you can pull them out and carry them to your work area. I purchased these a while ago at JoAnn's.
Now that I was somewhat organized I started making jewelry for the ISGB conference bead show, which is coming up on the 31st. You may have noticed that all the glass is out of the shop I will need these beads for the show and to make jewelry. In August I will restock with some new goodies, in the meantime the enamel components are still available in the shop.
Earrings are easier to design for me, so I will have mostly earrings at the show. Here are some examples of what I made last night. Sorry for the yellow pictures, I just used the overhead halogen lights. I guess my photo lights really do make a difference.
My first glass workshop is on Monday with Leah Fairbanks. The ISGB conference is from Wednesday to Sunday. Then immediately following the conference is my three day workshop with Caitlin Hyde.
So as you can see next week will be busy. I am going to try and blog everyday about my workshops and the conference so you can get a taste of this addiction I call lampworking.
Thanks for visiting, see you next week.

I love your organizing system. I have drawers, but mine don't pull all the way out for totin' around which is kind of a bummer.
The earrings look great and I envy you getting to take a class with Leah Fairbanks - her glasswork is just stunning. I'm sure you'll learn lots of cool stuff!
WOW you lucky girl!!!!!!!! I wish I was you! I am taking the enamel class at ArtBliss in September, though!
That looks like a great class Sue, metal smithing and enamel, yum.
Oooooh, I heard from many Southern Flames members that Caitlin's class is WoNdErFuL! I saw her do a demo and thought her technique was amazing!!!
