Making Murrini

Having fun with no deadlines, these are some of the murrini I have been making, and examples of what they look like on a bead.
Murrini are slices of glass that are applied to a bead, they can be complex or simple. The fun thing about these is the pin wheel effect that practically happens by itself. When you heat the murrini the stripes on the sides move to the center. Glass always moves toward the heat so you can control the look of decorations or shapes of beads just by manipulating the heat.
Hope you are all having fun doing what makes you happy this Holiday season as well.
