Pods continued...

Believe it or not the seed pods from the previous post were the inspiration for these beads. They are made on the end of the mandrel so the bead hole does not go all the way through. I can epoxy sterling silver wire in that hole and make a simple wrapped loop for a pendant. I can even epoxy to ends of leather cord in there and I have a finished necklace.

This is what I love the most about making glass beads, it does not matter what the inspiration is, I never know what the result will be.
