I had carpel tunnel years ago when I sewed for this lady and had continuous repetitive motion making yards upon yards of stupid ruffles. PAINFUL! I wore a brace on my wrist day and night. I didn't go to the doctor for it but it did eventually go away. Now I make sure that I just vary my motions after a certain amount of time.

I swear, between me with menopause and you with carpel tunnel, we're falling apart!Lori Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01808703279193470654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206952326686061874.post-41669136877643427802010-09-01T05:57:56.357-04:002010-09-01T05:57:56.357-04:00I have arthritis in right arm, but I have a mouse ...I have arthritis in right arm, but I have a mouse that you hold like a cup of tea with buttons on top. I also have a split keyboard that goes up in a v shape. Both take a bit of getting used to tho. Physio explained these are easier as normally hand positions on computer are against gravity.
Hope you feel better soon - it is so frustrating.Jonah the dognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206952326686061874.post-85752276559418745452010-08-31T22:46:46.257-04:002010-08-31T22:46:46.257-04:00I'm sorry to hear the glass stopped talking to...I'm sorry to hear the glass stopped talking to you AND that your left arm/hand is bothering you so. I have a smushy, gel filled wrist rest in front of my keyboard, but there is not a brand name on it. Sending good thoughts your way for healing.

LOVE the earrings for Natalie!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14228835578643576811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206952326686061874.post-66757430448922833272010-08-31T20:34:34.305-04:002010-08-31T20:34:34.305-04:00I feel your pain, no really I have the same pain. ...I feel your pain, no really I have the same pain. I love the computer but I am a nail technician and I make jewelry so I cannot bear to have wrist pain. I find the computer is killing my wrist and was wondering if I should get an external mouse or something like that to help with the pain. That or an ipad, convincing hubby might be difficult ;*)
Feel better,
ShannonShannon Chomanczukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06660614054875338541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206952326686061874.post-79852484893652203502010-08-31T20:06:39.084-04:002010-08-31T20:06:39.084-04:00Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel. Wearing the braces at night has helped me the most. I have heard conflicting stories on surgery so I am not going in that direction. Good luck!Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09539090300799927263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206952326686061874.post-24371913709043184172010-08-31T19:24:01.903-04:002010-08-31T19:24:01.903-04:00Natalies earings are so sweet.

When it acted up worst I used wrist braces that had the metal pieces in them to keep my wrists from moving. They worked pretty well but you have to keep them on for a while (days and nights) to get the wrist to settle down. You can type in them but it's best if you keep them on all the time because you do other things that make things flair up as well. Regular old advil taken regularly will help get your inflamation down as well. I wish I had taken care of mine better as I've got permanent nerve damage in my right hand. Good luck with these and feel free to contact me if you like.SummersStudiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10250150360701388415noreply@blogger.com
